Once you’ve installed Windows 10/11, configured your interface, and set up your accounts, it’s time to connect. In this Windows 10/11 Connectivity and Storage Configuration course, you’ll learn how to set up, deploy, and troubleshoot network connections and secure data storage. First, you’ll learn how to configure IP address and name resolution using both graphical and command-line tools to test and diagnose low-level connectivity. Next, you’ll see how to configure Wi-Fi connections, including tunneling and authentication protocols, and create many different types of virtual private networks that are supported in Windows. Then you’ll learn how to deploy Wi-Fi and VPN connections to users using tools like Windows Configuration Designer and Intune. Finally, you’ll explore how to administer local storage by using Disk Management and Storage Spaces to create logical drives and NTFS permissions and conditions to protect those drives. After completing this course, you will have the skills and knowledge to set up Windows 10/11 network connections and storage resources so that your systems can securely connect to the rest of your organization without increasing the risk of data breaches on local storage devices. .
