Scenario
Unravels the mystery of a town in the American heartland that imprisons anyone who enters. As residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc.
When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. Paved streets and roads were all that remained, and the fake town was built upon them. Martin (presumably) drops him a rope into the room above despite his wrists being chained.
This show was much, much, much better than I expected
Featured on Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Starring The Pixies. I thought the whole premise didn’t have much potential but then it was something else.
But I have to say, after the finale, I was blown away!
However, I’m still left with a lot of questions that need to be answered, especially after the last few scenes of the season 2 finale (which isn’t necessarily a negative). I just think we deserved at least some answers before we have to wait for season 3. I just hope the creators of the show keep it at this level and why not even make it better.
This one has potential
I’m tired of creators completely ruining good shows. If all the questions are answered in a logical and interesting way, and if we get an intriguing ending that includes everyone going home, this will surely be one of the best shows out there.
