Zach Weiner is an actor living on the Upper West Side of New York City. When the film industry shuts down, Zack and his friend Joe embark on a unique project: to make a movie about running for city council while running for New York City Council. Zack and his campaign are working with their community at the local level to improve the lives of their West Siders, but the campaign is struggling to get attention. Then, using some unconventional tactics, Zack’s team propels his smaller campaign to the top of New York politics.
